Job description

  • To oversee the food preparation process and to assign tasks to the appropriate department
  • To provide guidance for the kitchen’s smooth operation
  • To handle the daily production needs
  • To prepare the food according to the established recipes and menus
  • To keep the production at the level required
  • To ensure the quantity of the foods and the excellent quality of the raw materials for all the dishes created
  • To retain the cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace and of the equipment throughout the shift, as per the kitchen’s standards.

Required qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Gastronomy or Cooking Studies
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hotels
  • Very good knowledge of the English language
  • Ability to support the A’ Cooks or Confectioners in their responsibilities in the kitchen
  • Ability to take on various responsibilities in the kitchen
  • Very good knowledge of various techniques, materials and ingredients, cooking equipment and tools
  • Enthusiastic professional with a passion for food and desire to learn and work hard
  • Ability to execute multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to cooperate with an international team
  • EU Citizen or EU work permit holder
