Job description
- To oversee the food preparation process and to assign tasks to the appropriate department
- To provide guidance for the kitchen’s smooth operation
- To handle the daily production needs
- To prepare the food according to the established recipes and menus
- To keep the production at the level required
- To ensure the quantity of the foods and the excellent quality of the raw materials for all the dishes created
- To retain the cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace and of the equipment throughout the shift, as per the kitchen’s standards.
Required qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Gastronomy or Cooking Studies
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Executive Chef in luxury hotels
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Ability to support the A’ Cooks or Confectioners in their responsibilities in the kitchen
- Ability to take on various responsibilities in the kitchen
- Very good knowledge of various techniques, materials and ingredients, cooking equipment and tools
- Enthusiastic professional with a passion for food and desire to learn and work hard
- Ability to execute multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to cooperate with an international team
- EU Citizen or EU work permit holder
