Job Description:
- Support our Chef’s in the production of high-quality dishes for A La Carte and buffet restaurants
- Handle the daily production needs
- Prepare the food according to the established recipes and menus
- Keep the production at the level required by the Executive Chef
- Effectively handle raw material and control wastage
- Effectively participate during the preparation stage and service
- Retain the cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace and of the equipment as per the restaurant’s standards, throughout the shift
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Gastronomy or Cooking studies
- Very good knowledge of the English language
- Ability to support the Cook A’ or Pastry Chef’s in their responsibilities in the kitchen
- Ability to take on various responsibilities in the kitchen
- Very good knowledge of various techniques, materials and ingredients, cooking equipment and tools
- Enthusiastic professional with a passion for food and desire to learn and work hard
- Ability to execute multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Ability to co-direct and to motivate an international team
- EU citizen or EU work permit holder
